Abstract

224,312. Crimmins, J. Aug. 20, 1923. Chimney tops.-A chimney pot a, the base of which is inserted in the flue of the stack e, is provided at a predetermined distance from its base with an oblique flange b which extends out from the brickwork of the stack e without embracing the latter, so as to carry off the rain water. The pot may be set in cement c. Two or more integral pots may be formed as in Fig. 4, the portions of the flanges between the pots being slightly shorter and a gutter d being formed a,t the junction of there flanges.
