Gas cooking-stoves.-In gas cookers having an oven 5 arranged above a hot-plate 1, the taps 9 controlling the hot-plate burners are arranged on top of the oven, in order to avoid their being accidentally turned. Preferably the branch pipes 8 supplying the hot-plate burners pass over the top and down the back of the oven.
