221,343. Rollinson, R. M. Aug. 31, 1923. Operating doors by lever, link, and like mechanism.-The fall-down door D of a wagon is provided with an angle-piece B attached to the door near its edge, the depending part being provided with a hook B<2> with which is adapted to engage a hook-ended implement such as H so that the operator can raise the door into the closed position when standing at the side of the wagon. L is the usual door-catch. A bracket A clamped to the usual V-piece that carries part of the brake mechanism serves as a rest and fulcrum for the operating lever.
