Abstract

A shelf assembly particularly for a mobile storage unit such as a roll pallet comprises a shelf support and guide means 21 secured to or forming part of an upright structural component (9) of the storage unit, and a shelf 20 retained in non- removable engagement with the support and guide means 21 so that it can be selectively positioned at any of a plurality of vertically spaced shelf levels, the support and guide means guiding the movement of the shelf between the shelf levels. Such roll pallets can be collapsed and rested together. <IMAGE>
