Abstract

A pharmaceutical inhaler comprises a pressure resistant aerosol container, an aerosol valve, and an outer case. The aerosol container is of clear glass or plastics so that the level of a drug therein is visible. The outer case has a hole, a slot, or a series of holes to act as a window for viewing said level. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Vis-fill inhaler 1) This invention relates to pharmaceutical inhalers.
2) Pharmaceutical inhalers are used for the application of drugs ahrough the air passage of patients. They are normally constructed by means of placing a metal aerosol inside a plastic applicator case. In all current packs the level of product cannot be seen as the aerosol is solid in colour-usually metal.
3) The invention would use a clear material for manufacture of the aerosol such as, glass clear plastic "etc". A slot with level indicators embossed on the applicator case would be formed to show the product left to be dispensed. Figure one shows this clearly.
4) Benefits to the user are that the amount of product left before running out can be visually monitored.

Claims (3)

1. A pharmacuetical or other product aerosol inhaler applicator, comprising a clear aerosol container suitable for holding pressure, an aerosol valve suitable for use with the clear aerosol container when filled with the required drug or product, an outer applicator case desiged to be used with the clear aerosol container and valve to administer the drug or product to a patient.
2. A pharmacuetical or other product aerosol inhaler applicator assembly wherein a slot, hole, clear indicator window, or a number of these is or are formed or inserted into the other applicator case, using items as in Claim 1).
3. A pharmacuetical or other product aerosol inhaler applicator assembly as described in claims 1) and 2) with reference to Figs. 1 and 2 of the accompanying drawings.
