Abstract

In a method enabling to control in situ movement processes in solid media, there are electric sensors and signal emitters mounted and fixed in the medium to be controlled, the signal emitters being mounted, if desired, outside said medium. The method is characterized in that signals corresponding to the localization and/or the importance and/or the acceleration of the movement process are generated and that said signals are transmitted via lines and/or are radio transmitted, and received, recorded and/or processed. A device for implementing such process is comprised of an electric power supply, sensors (4) mounted and fixed at the control locations (3) of the medium (1), signal emitters (5) associated to the sensors (4) or being part thereof, signal receivers (6) connected to the signal emitters (5) via lines or radio, as well as a memory unit (7) and/or a data processing unit, if desired. The invention finds a particular utilization in the mining industry.
