Abstract
Apparatus for playing the game comprises a playing surface and a "scoreboard" (Fig. 1), the playing surface having two circular sections 20, 21, one to score the "batsman's" runs and one to decide his fate whenever the "batsman" arrow 28 stops at the 'How's That' section and sliding tracks 25 for the "batsmen" 29 and 26 for the "balls" 30 used to execute the results of the spinning arrows. Scorepads 27 are used to keep the record of the progress of the game. At each stage of the game the results are entered on the "scoreboard" showing details of the runs scored, wickets lost and overs bowled. The length of the game is decided by the two participating players nominating the number of overs to be played and the object is to score the most runs in the allotted time or when ten of the batsmen have been dismissed on each team. <IMAGE>

Object of the Game
To score more runs than the opposition.
Preparation
1. Fit up scoreboard
2. Decide which teams are playing. Fill in the plastic discs with the magic marker provided and insert them into the appropriate slots on the scoreboard.
3. Spin a coin to decide which player bats and which player bowls.
4. Fill in the names of the batsmen on the scorepads.
5. The first two batsmens numbers are printed on the playing surface. Following batsmens numbers are provided to insert into these sections when they are batting. Each batsmans number must be entered on the scoreboard. Begin the game with one batsman each end of the sliding track.
6. Decide the number of overs to be played (30--50 recommended).
To Play
1. The bowler begins the game by bowling to batsman 1 by moving the first ball (disc) along the bowlers sliding treck in the direction of the batsman.
2. The batsman then spins his spinning arrow to ascertain the number of runs scored.
3. Both batsmen then execute the runs by moving concurrently to each end of the sliding track, ie:- if the number of runs is even, the batsman will finish in the same position and the bowler will then be bowling to batsman number 1 again. If the number of runs is odd, the batsman will finish in the opposite position and the bowler will then be bowling towards batsman 2 who also then spins the spinning arrow to ascertain his score to be entered on the scoreboard.
4. When all six balls have been played to the opposite end.of the bowlers sliding track, one over has been completed, which in turn is entered on the scoreboard.
5. The second over now commences with the balls remaining in the left hand position and moving to the right. The bowler bowls to whichever batsman happens to bebn the right hand side of the batsmans track.
6. Continue the game as described for the first over.
7. When the batsmans spinning arrow stops at the 'Hows That' section, it is then the turn of the bowler to spin his arrow to decide the fate of the batsman. If the batsman is 'Out' then his score is transferred from the scoreboard to the scorepad. If the batsman is 'Not Out' then the game continues as before.
8. The innings is finished when ten wickets have fallen or when the allotted overs have all been executed. At this time the scorepad is totalled and should correspond with the score on the scoreboard.
9. Then it is the turn of the bowling team to bat, in order to try to beat the oppositio: score.
