Abstract

A cover for removably covering the access opening of display-type freezers or refrigerators comprises a heat insulating material enclosed between two flexible sheets. The heat insulating material is a cohesive, continuous and flexible layer (10) and one surface of the layer is attached or secured to an impervious outer sheet (12), while the opposite surface of the layer is attached or secured to an inner sheet (14) which is adapted to face towards the interior of a freezer when the cover has been applied across the access opening of the freezer. The cover may readily and quickly be rolled up and is convenient to handle and use.
