Abstract
216,223. May, S. Feb. 26, 1923. Venting-apparatus. -- A vent in a cistern comprises a brass cup B screwed at its base into the top of the cistern its interior containing a float F and communicating by a channel C with the cistern and bv a channel D in a cap A with the open air. The float has a passage G through which the vent air may pass and is surmounted by a rubber pad E which closes the channel D when the float is forced upwards by the water in the cistern.
