Abstract

A woody board having low moisture- and gas-absorbing properties and having good abrasion resistance, which is particularly suited as inner walls of goods-carrying vessels or apparatuses such as inner walls of containers, flooring of trucks, etc. This woody board comprises a wood base having been treated to protect it from insects and having on the surface and the side thereof a first synthetic resin coating layer and, on this first layer, a second synthetic resin coating layer containing hardwearing inorganic perticles which make the surface of the second layer coarse. This woody board has low moisture- and gas-absorbing properties, has a hardwearing surface, and shows a large friction with goods placed thereon.
