Abstract

213,422. Tonks, W. H., Sparks, W., and Preston, H. J. March 20, 1923. Clip brockets.-Relates to end brackets for curtain rods and the like of the type comprising U- shaped fixture having a cap member attached thereto and swivelling about pivots situated transversely to the axis of the rod. The cap member is not movable in the direction of its pivotal axis and is held in its engaging position by the weight of the rod or similar means. Instead of pivoting the cap as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the projecting arms e may move in a, bayonet-joint slot h, Fig. 6, or in a keyhole slot as shown in Fig. 9. The arms b, c of the fixture a are shaped to allow the rod g to roll into a position in which it acts to retain the cap f in position.
