Abstract

Tricycles; collapsable cycles; direct-action velocipedes; heads; saddles.-A child's tricycle adapted to be readily dismantled and re-assembled by means of bolts or pins comprises two parallel and horizontal frame bars 20 having rear parts 20<a> bent downwards and outwards for attachment by bolts and nuts to a rectamgular back axle, on the circular ends of which rotate the two rear wheels 26. Between the front ends of the bars 20 is bolted a bracket 1 formed of a plate bent double on itself and provided with a tubular part 2 at the bend, for the reception of the handle-bar stem 3 provided with collars 4, 5. The front wheel axle rotates in eyes 7 at the ends of the fork limbs, and is removed sideways together with one of the pedal cranks 9 by first removing the other crank, the latter crank and the wheel 10 being pinned to the axle. The saddle 30 is provided with two inverted L-shaped plates 31 fixed back to back and adapted to be adjustably secured by bolts and nuts 32 between the frame bars 20.
