Fixing by self-grip sockets of special form with clamping devices for mops.-Means for fixing a mop to a handle comprise a split metal ring or like elastic device adapted to fit in a groove in the end of the handle. In the construction shown, the base h of the mop carries a split ring adapted to fit in a groove e in a soap-container d forming an extension of the handle. The soap-container may be dispensed with in which case, the mop may be secured to an enlargement on the handle, formed with a peripheral groove. The base of the mop may be split for a portion of its length to facilitate attachment to the handle.
