211,098. Simonds Saw & Steel Co., (Assignees of Kelley, J. E.). Feb. 8, 1923, [Convention date]. Saws.-The blade of a saw is thinned near the teeth by forming recesses 3 alternately on each side, adjacent recesses being separated by parts 8 substantially the full thickness of the blade. The recesses may be round or square in section, and may be arranged perpendicularly to the direction of motion of the blade. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 11891*/92.
