Colour photography; printing apparatus.-A camera for producing at one exposure three component colour negatives comprises an objective and two colour screens meeting at an angle, and equally inclined to the. axis of the objective, the screens being so arranged that the beam of light from the objective falls on one screen, which transmits a part directly to a photographic plate and reflects the remainder to the second screen, which in turn transmits a part directly to a second plate and reflects the remainder directly to a third plate. The camera has a single lens 0, Fig. 1, projecting an image upon a sensitive plate C' by rays transmitted through a glass screen M<1> mounted in an opaque screen E<1> inclined at 45‹ to the axis of the lens. Rays refiected from the screen M<1> form the second image upon a sensitive plate C<2> after transmission through a similar arrangement of screens M<2>, E<2>, and rays reflected from the screen M<2> form the third image upon a sensitive plate C<3>, The screens M<1>, M<2> are coated with coloured varnish, for example orange-red and green respectively. The plates C<1>, C<2> are sensitive to the colours transmitted by these screens, and the plate C<3> is an ordinary plate employed without a filter. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) also comprises a method and apparatus for printing from the partial negatives. A positive is printed on bromide paper coloured yellow from the negative obtained from plate C<3>, and positives are printed in register on opposite sides of a doubly-coated non-actinic film-support from the negatives obtained from plates C' and C<2>. The film positives are coloured, in the example chosen, one red and one blue, in baths of which the film forms the bottom, and the film, or its faces, are then superimposed in register on the yellow positive. The apparatus for producing the film positives comprises a negative frame D', Fig. 2 (Cancelled), having a hinged extension L', and a negative frame D<2> having a fixed extension L<2>, the frames being held together in an adjustable manner bv screw-pins T<2>, fixed to the extensions L<2>, passing loosely through holes 0' in the extension L<1>, and provided with clamping-nuts V<2>. The frames are adjusted until the negatives in frames D<1> and D<2> are in register, the extensions are clamped together, the film with sensitive layers on opposite sides is placed between the frames, and printing is effected from opposite sides. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
