Abstract

A horizontal form, fill and seal wrapping machine has, positioned between a horizontal tube former (11) which forms a web of wrapping material into a tube with a longitudinal bottom joint around the goods (10) to be packaged, and an infeed conveyor (13, 15) which pushes the goods at regular intervals towards the tube former, a platform (24) on which the goods are temporarily supported until pushed off it into the tube former by succeeding goods delivered by the infeed conveyor. <IMAGE>
