Abstract

Figures A and B show a wheel having receptors jutting out to receive the power of the windflow that previously used to slip by and was not tapped. Now the receptors use the air flow and convert it to use by making the wheel to rotate in the required direction prior to landing on any runway. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION The Dynamic Wheel The idea of the above wheel is to give the aircraft a safe landing without a burst tyre or undue wear and tear. The invention of wind receptors will automatically turn the wheel to reduce the impact on touch down. Some times the wheel could turn the opposite way which could cause a screach or a burst tyre. With the new invention the proceeding receptors dictate the direction the wheel should rotate to enhance a smooth landing without undue friction. The invention is called the "DYNAMIC WHEEL".
Claims
1. An aircraft wheel having means to cause itself to rotate in the correct direction required for landing.
2. An aircraft wheel as in (1) wherein 'air' receptors cuplike in shape are provided to rotate the wheel under the influence of the incident of air flow in flight.
3. An aircraft wheel substantially as herein before described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
