207,133. Moyer, P. S., and Turpin, W. A. Feb. 22, 1923. Internal fittings.-A lid of " lever " form is equipped with means for attaching to its underside a cake of dehydrating material. In the form shown in Fig. 1, the lid is recessed at 5 and a flanged perforated supplementary cover 7 adapted to support the cake is held in position as shown. In the form shown in Fig. 3, the underside of the lid has attached to it a flanged member 10 adapted to receive the supplementary cover. The cover 7 is provided with a ring handle 8 to facilitate removal from the lid. The cake may be enclosed in a casing of aluminium gauze or other perforated non-rusting material, or the parts of the lid and supplementary lid concerned may be formed of, or covered with, non-rusting material.
