Abstract
205,785. Raymond, A. F. Oct. 18, 1922, [Convention date]. Stud-and-eye fastenings.-In a fastening for motor-car curtains, &c., of the kind in which an eyelet in the curtain, &c., is secured over a stud member a by the rotation, from either end, of a doubleheaded shank c, the member a is secured to the fabric b by a plate l, the prongs l<1> of which are passed through holes in the base of the member a, fabric b, and ring m and then clenched over into flat parts located between bulged parts in the ring m. The cap - like head f is secured on the split end of the shank c by pressure so as to bring the two faces fo into cuatact along the portions shown by interrupted lines in Fig. 7.
