Abstract

203,451. Chandler, C. K. July 1, 1922. Undesired signals and local disturbances, eliminating or limiting; thermionic amplifiers.- To obviate interference, the aerial circuit comprises, in addition to means for tuning it as a whole, a closed circuit 3, 4, tuned to the frequency of the waves to be received and connected to the grid and filament of a detector valve 8 through a change-over switch 5 for reversing the connections to the grid and filament. Means such as described in Specification 160,502 for coupling the closed circuit to the source of disturbance may be provided to eliminate further interference due to shock excitation of the aerial circuit.
