Gravity, materials descending by.-A drying and conditioning machine for cereals, and particularly wheat, comprises at least four superposed sections consisting of alternate heating and aspirating sections. One of the aspirating sections is provided with plates h, i, Fig. 3, adapted to be opened as shown at the left-hand side of the Figure, so as to allow the wheat &c. to pass through the section without being subjected to the aspirating action.
