Abstract

A rectangular plastics sheet (10) e.g. of polypropylene may be folded about hinges (12) to provide a container for holding coins or the like and preferably consists of three V-shaped units (16) separated by two hinges (12), which units (16) when folded form a regular hexagonally cross-sectioned cylinder. Ledging is provided to partially closes the otherwise open end of the cylinder. A locking mechanism comprises an upwardly extending lip (28) on a side edge of the sheet (10) which engages a hollow (32) behind and beneath a downwardly extending lip (26) on the other side edge. <IMAGE>
