Abstract

A solenoid valve, operating magnet or the like is proposed which is used for operationally secure and easy- action mounting of the magnet armature 4 in an inner guide tube 3. The magnet armature 4 has at least one circumferential groove 5a, 5b in which are disposed ball bearings 6 which are distributed in cages 11 over the periphery of the armature 4 and roll on the base of the groove and on the inner surface of the guide tube 3 with the result that the armature is held in the clearance. The races for the ball bearings 6 are made from a hardened material, preferably from inserted strips 8a, 8b, 10, 10' of hardened steel. <IMAGE>
