Abstract

The invention relates to a panel assembly and to apparatus for constructing the panel assembly and a system comprising the combination of a panel assembly or assemblies and furniture units, and/or fixtures or fittings the panel assemblies providing a screen or screens defining a location or area for working or other purposes, a panel assembly comprising a panel 32 disposed between panel supports 30 at each lengthwise extending edge of the panel, means 31 at each lengthwise extending edge of the panel for engaging a panel support and retaining means 33 engageable with the panel support engaging means and the panel support for securing the panel to each support. <IMAGE>
