Abstract

A flow deflector blade 4 primarily for mounting within the efflux of an aircraft propulsion fan so that a change of flow direction can be effected, includes a leading edge member 6, a trailing edge member 7, a leaf spring member 8 of arcuate form connecting the two, and filler portions 12, 13 of rubber bonded to each side of the leaf spring member shaped to provide a desired blade contour. <IMAGE>
