Abstract

A tooth crown is made of a photocuring resin compound comprising a polymerizable methacrylate and/or acrylate with the addition of a light sensitizer or a filler, the resin compound being hardened by exposure to actinic radiation. The resin compound is laid up on a plaster cast, or in the case of a front crown, on a metallic frame.
