Abstract

A panel (1) comprises a rectangular panel portion and two oppositely facing channels (7,8) on opposite edges of the panel, one channel (8) being of wider than the other channel (7) such that each channel, will cooperate with appropriate channels of adjacent panels with the narrower channels seating within the wider channels. The panels comprise steel or plastic facing sheets 2 & 3, one of which is perforated and U-section members 11 and 12, and a sound deadening filling. The panels are mounted in channels in the floor and ceiling and slid into engagement. <IMAGE>
