Abstract

A sack for powdered or granular material, and preferably of woven material, has at least one end folded over and connected to at least one of the sack walls 3, 4, preferably by means of a sewn seam 7, along such portions of the width of the sack that an opening 8 is provided, giving access to the interior of the sack. The sack may suitably be provided with double side gussets 1 and possibly with a single bottom gusset. By making two cuts parallel to the side walls within the inner fold edges 2 of the side gussets 1 through both sack walls and through the folded over portion and providing the portion thereby cut out with edge seams a filling tube may be provided. The sack may contain a liner having a filling tube. <IMAGE>
