Abstract
A liquid fuel-burning radiant heater comprises a fuel reservoir 3 seated in inverted position above the inlet 11 of a fuel supply pipe 12 and fitted with a spring-loaded valve 18 which opens automatically when the reservoir is properly seated; the amount of fuel likely to be spilt in the event of the heater overturning is reduced by the provision of a cup (10) of less diameter than the mouth of the reservoir, which cup is fitted beneath the reservoir seat and is apertured at its lower end to receive the inlet end of the fuel supply pipe. <IMAGE>
