Abstract

A scaffolding for resting against a wall W in the manner of a ladder includes a vertical portion 1 bearing at 6 against the wall and connected at its lower end by an inclined strut 3 to a ground-engaging foot 17. Staging support brackets 30, 39 hooks onto projections 5, 16. The foot 17 is a horizontal bar 21 maintained in rolling control with an arcuate surface 19 of the strut 3 by a spring-loaded bolt 23. <IMAGE>
