Abstract

A horticultural enclosure such as a cloche is formed by a clear plastics sheet (2) stretched over flexible arcuate support members (1) which are located in respective transverse pockets (3) in the sheet, opposite ends of the support members, which may be plastics rod or tube, being inserted in the ground or in a rigid base or tray 12. The opposite ends of the cover sheet (2) are bunched and anchored to the ground or to specially adapted ends of the support base or tray. Transverse stays 10 may be provided and two longitudinal sheets may provide a longitudinal central access opening. The pockets may be intermittently joined to the sheet to facilitate fasting. <IMAGE>
