Abstract

A golf club having inherently improved driving capabilities compared with a standard golf club has the hosel and/or shaft e.g. of tear shape when viewed in a plane transverse to the longitudinal axis of the shaft. Additional improvements are dimpling the head (apart from the striking face) and grooving the sole. <IMAGE>
