Abstract

A washable electrical appliance has a housing with a cordless connector. The cordless connector includes part of the external surface of the appliance, which may be a kettle. The connector is sealed against the housing by a seal 12 which has one or more elongate portions 15 extending between the cordless connector and the housing.
