Abstract
An automated lighting control system for an entertainment lighting system allows the control of automated lighting fixtures 2, 3, 4 with regards their orientation in three dimensional space, using Polar and Cartesian co-ordinate manipulation via a touch sensitive graphical user interface, as well as third party image processing equipment to facilitate automation of various components of the automated lighting control system. A touch sensitive user interface (figure 2) is provided, on which is displayed a two-dimensional representation of an area illuminated by the lighting fixtures to allow a user to directly manipulate the lighting fixtures.
