Abstract

A liquid cooling system for a motor vehicle engine has two radiators (1, 2) connected, in series or parallel, in the flow path of a cooling liquid from the engine (3), the first radiator (2) being cooled by a first fan (5), preferably driven by a belt (4) from the engine (3), and the second radiator (1) being cooled by a second fan (6), driven by a thermostatically controlled electric motor (7), actuated when the temperature of the cooling liquid exceeds a predetermined value. <IMAGE>
