Handles with clamping-devices for brushes and the like.-An attachment of the kind comprising a pair of hooked clamping-members a, b having socket parts h for the handle and a bolt k by which it is clamped on the brush &c. head and handle, has each member formed with a strengthening rib l extending o v e r the curved part a, b and along a portion of the socket part h. The members a, b are formed with hook-like ends c which may be recessed at d to avoid interference with the bristles of the brush.
