Abstract

A blank for making a container bottom comprises a base 10 and a flap B-E extending from each side of the base and having parallel fold lines such that each flap is capable of being folded to form a lateral hollow side wall. Each flap has a first strip 12, 14 for engaging an edge of a false bottom G and a second strip 16,38 for overlying a peripheral portion of the false bottom G, the remainder of the flaps when assembled forming the lateral hollow side wall. A blank for making a cover for the container bottom comprises a base, and flaps extending from each side of the base, and capable of being folded to form a hollow side wall of the assembled cover of triangular cross-section. <IMAGE>
