Abstract

There is disclosed a universal motor, especially for the drive of small domestic and kitchen machines, such as coffee grinders or the like, with a collector (1), the carbon brushes (2) of which are displaceable towards the collector (1) in guides 4 under the force effect of helical compression springs (5) lying in the motor current circuit, and these springs are dimensioned to serve also as interference suppression chokes. A ferrite core 8 may be provided. This may have an insulating coating or be in an insulating sleeve. <IMAGE>
