Abstract

A rotary fluid pump or motor of the kind having a pair of toothed or lobed rotors meshing with one another has the rotors made by powder metallurgy techniques, wherein each rotor is of two parts, the parts being of equal length, and the interface between the two parts being co-planar with the interface between the two parts of the other rotor.
