Abstract

An apparatus for effecting multiple measurements for electrochemical analysis of a liquid or a gas has a housing (54) and a plurality of identical isolating bodies (51) locatable therein. The bodies (51) each have an inlet channel (58) and an outlet channel (59), for liquid or gas to be analysed, in opposite ends of the body and a borehole (61) which extends outwardly from the inlet and outlet channels (58), (59) in communication therewith for receipt of a measuring probe (62). The bodies (51) are locatable in the housing in end to end disposition such that their outlet channel (59) is in alignment with the inlet channel (58) of an adjacent one of the bodies (51). Clamping means (54a) is provided for urging adjacent ends of the bodies (51) into intimate sealing contact. <IMAGE>
