Abstract

198,955. Alexander, W. H. J. Oct. 3, 1922. Fire - bars. - A furnace fire-bar comprises a series of hollow cylindrical bosses A connected by webs B, some or all of the bosses projecting beyond both the upper and lower sides of the webs so that the bar is reversible. At each end of the bar is a socket C to house a hollow plug F, which is removable to allow the bar to be reversed.
