Abstract

198,122. BilbÚ, H. S. March 15, 1922. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Brake mechanism.- In a rim brake for cycles or motor-cycles, blocks 9 of square or triangular section are mounted rotatably on spindles 8 attached to arms 6 pivoted at 13 to flat plates 2 upon the forks. The arms 6 are raised, against the action of springs connected to the plates 2, by light rods or wires 11, connected at their upper ends by a bridge-piece. The Provisional Specification also describes the arms 6 as connected by an arched yoke.
