Hand domestic appliances; covers.-In a churn for household use in which the 'beaters are mounted on a vertical spindle mounted on and removable with the cover, the cover A is provided with an aperture B fitted with a removable strainer C. By these means the butter milk may be removed and washing water introduced and discharged without removing the cover.
