Coat and like hangers.- Clothes-hangers con sisting of spring-pivoted jaws 10, 11, Fig. 2, with upstanding finger-grips 13 are provided with ; hanging-handle 18, Fig. 1, with U-shaped arms 17 through which the finger-grips 13 pass, the ends of the arms being turned in at 16 to forn pivots on which the movable jaws, 10, 11, work actuated by a spiral spring 19. In a modification Fig. 5, the helical spring 32 forms the pivota connection between narrow jaws 30, 31 which i engages as at 33.
