Stands or supports for vehicles.-In a tip over or cam type of axle lifting device, the device is made in two parts, the part B being fixed to the axle while the cam part C is readily detachable. The part C is formed with a. pin C<3> which can only be engaged with or disengaged from the part B when the part C is in such a position that the guide or keep C' is opposite the gap B<2> in the part B. The rim of the cam part C is notched or studded so as to form a series of short tangents terminating in a tangential base to hold the load in stable equilibrium after it has been raised.
