Abstract

192,361. Sandblom, G. E. Jan. 28, 1922, [Convention date]. Cleaners for mechanically removing incrustation.-The hammers of a rotary scaling or like tool are pivoted unsymmetrically, so as to be partly counterbalanced, on parallel pins 3, 3a, carried by the, rotating member 2. The hammers are mounted alternately on the pins, so that each pin acts as a stop for the tails of the hammers on the other pin, the line c, c<1> which joins the centres of gravity of the two parts of a hammer, being thus at an angle to the position it tends to take up under centrifugal action. Rubber or leather rings 7 may be mounted between the hammers. The hammers, instead of acting directly as shown, may be arranged to strike the head of a spring-mounted chisel,. and the outer ends 5 widened. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes parallel.sided hammers shown in Fig. 1 (Cancelled). This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
