192,144. Howells, Ltd., D. P., (Howells Cine Equipment Co.). Oct. 25, 1921. Lantern slides.-An announcement slide comprises a sheet of celluloid which is inscribed by means of carbon paper and may be mounted between two sheets of glass in a metal holder (not shown). The arrangement for inscribing the required legend consists of a case 12 cut away at 13 and open at both ends 17, and a sheet 11 of red or other carbon paper which is wrapper round the celluloid sheet 10 so as to mark it on both sides, the two sheets being then slipped into the holder 12. The inscription may be typewritten. One side of the holder 12 may be detached and, in virtue of its opening 13, used as a mask in the finished slide. Reference has been, directed by the Comptroller to Specification 129,444.
