Sale apparatus.-An article is delivered alternately from two adjacent magazines, each of which is provided with a motor-driven delivery mechanism, a deflector being pivoted in the coin shoot to direct the coins alternately to the two delivery mechanisms. A pivoted counterweighted lever 6 forming part of the base of the shoot rejects coins that are too heavy, while a second counterweighted lever 7 tilts to allow coins of sufficient weight to pass into the shoot 14. All rejected coins fall on to a slope 12 which directs them to the external tray 13.
