Abstract
23,728. Signal-Ges. Nov. 27, 1912, [Convention date]. [Addition to 736/13.] Wireless aeronautic signals.-In a radiating system for aeroplanes in which the aeroplane itself serves as one member of the radiating system, and the other is elevated over the aeroplane by a mast, as described in the parent Specification, the mast 7 is carried by a steel tube 5, built into the frame of the machine and secured by tubular stays 6, no stays being necessary for the mast itself. The upper end of the tube 5 may project above the wing planes. The wires 8 forming the aerial are connected at one end to the top of the mast and at the other end through insulators 9 to the tips of the wings and the fuselage.
