[Addition to 24,611/09.] Grates. -Relates to a rotary grate for gasproducers of the kind having helical excrescences in the ends of which blast apertures k<2> are provided as shown in Fig. 1. The surfaces B, Fig. 4, of the excrescences of the lowest section of the grate are so constructed that they become less helical as they approach the base, and finally assume a cylindrical form at the base.
